A Call to the Wild 2025–26: Silk screen prints, wood

Research output: Non-textual formArtefact

Abstract

A Call to the Wild is a creative project forming part of The Green Corridor, an initiative to bring people closer to nature and heritage and improve well-being across the Tees Valley. The corridor links Middlesbrough and the Tees Estuary with the North Yorkshire Moors and Roseberry Topping.

The prints highlight relationships between people, wildlife and heritage, from Middlesbrough town centre to the semi-rural edges of Ormesby Hall. They are made using sustainable screen-printing processes, with recycled paper, reclaimed wood and air-ink, which is created by turning carbon emissions into pigment.
