    Abstract

Tackling obesity requires multi-level action across all sectors, and part of this action should include local authorities and clinical commissioning groups co-commissioning weight management services across the obesity pathway.
This guide brings together the evidence to support the local commissioning and delivery of effective tier 2 weight management services for overweight and obese children and their families.

This guide is most appropriate for designing and commissioning services for children aged 4-12 years old and is not aimed at supporting the design, delivery and commissioning of adolescent weight management services.
