Abstract

In this paper a strategy has been introduced for Distributed Generation (DG) structure using battery package and SPWM method for bi-directional AC/DC convertor. In the proposed structure, a battery pack is connected to a typical power network via an AC/DC converter and a filter block where a fuzzy controller have been devised for active power flow direction considering the battery's state of charge (SoC). Also, a method has been introduced for islanding detection and isolated operation of DG system. Finally, verification as simulation results shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.
