Abstract
This paper will examine the making of art as the production of art and in turn the learning process as a social action. The aim is to position critical pedagogy as a methodology in art practice, as a critical practice. Charting Alternative Art School examples since 2010, it will explore processes of collaboration and learning. Outlined will be a consideration of the role of the art school alongside possible tools to apply in practice, such as un-learning, bodily infiltration and context. Hegemonic structures are the make-up of subjective passions, the dismantling of them is similar.
