Animation and Prints in National Trust Exhibition "Washington: Fact, Fiction and Folklore"

Research output: Non-textual formExhibition

Abstract

Exhibited an animation and artwork based on the legend of The Lambton Worm in "Washington: Fact, Fiction and Folklore", a multi-media, group exhibition to celebrate the North East town of Washington’s past, both real and mythical marking its 60th anniversary as a New Town. The Washington Heritage Partnership worked with Arts Centre Washington and the National Trust's Washington Old Hall to deliver this arts project, built around Washington’s multi-layered history. It took inspiration from the book "Washington: Fact, Fiction and Folklore" by Fred Hill, a local historian and schoolmaster who played a key role in saving Washington Old Hall.
