Abstract
The textile artwork Antwerp Icon was selected to be shown at the 'Restart From Chaosmos' exhibition 2023. The work innovates with digital, screen printing and handpainting process juxtaposing the photographic and the symbolic in a small fibre art work that was inspired by travels through Belgium and its medieval and the merchant heritage of the Low Countries. The International Exchange Exhibition 'Restart From Chaosmos 2023' featured artists from 13 countries: Belgian (2), Bulgarian (1), Chinese (2), Finnish (1), French (2), German (1), Japanese (5), Latvian (1), Lithuanian (3), Taiwanese (1), British (1), American (3), and Korean (22). The exhibition was held in Busan Metropolitan City -The First Gallery and was sponsored by Busan Metropolitan City & Busan Cultural Foundation.
