Abstract
Pioneering electronic music originators, Steve Jones and Sally Rodgers aka A Man Called Adam host a live event in the MIMA Pavilion and Garden. They will create an immersive and kinetic audiovisual experience that centres on birds as adaptable, co-inhabitants of our environment. The work invites deep listening and presence, encouraging us to reflect on how birds navigate and attune to human-altered spaces.
The event forms part of Remember Nature 2025, an ambitious new staging of the visionary art project initiated in 2015 by artist Gustav Metzger (1926–2017). Marking the 10thanniversary of the original call to action, this nationwide day of art brings together 16 organisations across England to stand up for nature, realising Metzger’s hope and belief in the future power of art to halt universal extinction.
