Abstract

Many patients with Lymphoma, has helped others given
their scientific expertise and personal knowledge with a
desire to manage lymphoma this difficult and often
unsolved disease. Although with the availability of more
effective treatment regimens, many people with lymphoma
are living longer; in fact, almost two-thirds (63%) of people
diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in England and
Wales survive their disease for ten years or more (2010-11).
Around 7 in 10 (69%) of people diagnosed with NonHodgkin lymphoma cancer in England and Wales survive
their disease for five years or more (2010-11). Eight in ten
(80%) of people/men/women diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin
lymphoma cancer in England and Wales survive their
disease for one year or more (2010-11). Non-Hodgkin
lymphoma survival is similar in men than women. NonHodgkin lymphoma survival in England is highest for
people diagnosed aged under 40 (2009-2013).
