Fostering Entrepreneurial Mindset Through Community Of Practice: Entrepreneurship Education in Post Conflict Societies

Entrepreneurship is critical for regional and national economic prosperity. However, entrepreneurship is an outcome of individuals’ deliberate intentions and a persuasive push to engage in entrepreneurial activities. These deliberate, intentional actions need to be choreographed and shaped to achieve a desired outcome. CoPs play an instrumental role in shaping, developing and nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset (EM) through the design, development and delivery of entrepreneurship education curriculum. This chapter explores the role CoPs play in the development and fostering of EM and sheds light on the institutional contextual challenges, including conceptualisation of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial architecture to support entrepreneurship education and EM, and internal culture that affect academic entrepreneurship which have a direct impact on the efficacy and effectiveness of entrepreneurship education and EM.
