Abstract

This was a posthumous appeal, on reference by the Criminal Cases Review Commission, on behalf of Mohammed Ali Jamil who died in 1998. The appellant had been convicted on 25 May 1989, at Birmingham Crown Court, of possession of heroin with intent to supply and was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment.
