    Abstract

Homonuclear spin-spin coupling, 2J(13CFe13C), has been observed in the nitroprusside ion, [Fe(CN)5NO]2-, and the coupling 2J(15NFe15N) has been observed in the Roussin anions [Fe4S3(NO)7]- and [Fe4Se3(NO)7]-: the 15N NMR spectrum of [Fe4Se3(15NO)7]- provides a definitive proof of the structure for this anion.
