Bibliographical note

‘The Intoart Collection – An Octopus with Boomerangs’ accompanies the first ever Intoart Collection exhibition at Copeland Gallery, Peckham. This substantial book is filled with large scale colour illustrations throughout, premiering works from the collection and providing an insight into the vast range of work produced in Intoart’s studios.

Introduction by George Vasey, with essays by Kate Macfarlane, Laura Smith, Rosie Cooper and Sarah Griffin. Designed by Studio Mark El-khatib.

While no thematic prevails, work is characterised by material and formal exploration across art, design, poetry and fashion. You will see dream-like evocations of other worlds and unruly versions of this one: lyrical depictions of nature, vivid abstractions and experimental portraiture.
