Abstract

This research targets to inspect in the manufacturing industry of the Malaysia, focusing the quality of work life and its relationship with economic, social and environmental, manufacturing performance. Collection of data was performed from 200 employees of the Malaysian manufacturing sector. AMOS software for analysis of the data was used as Structural Equation modeling was applied. It was displayed in the results that QWL has a positive relationship, in the manufacturing sector of Malaysia, with social, environmental and economic performance. It is recommended, for the managers of the manufacturing industry in Malaysia, on the basis of the results of this paper that in order to achieve sustainability, they should improve the employees’ quality of work life.
