Abstract
The appellant (H) and his brother had been jointly charged on two counts, the first being murder of John Henry Greaves (V) and the second being the robbery of V, both on 7 February 1983. They each pleaded guilty to the robbery charge and, a plea to manslaughter having been rejected, were tried on the murder charge alone.
