Natural Bonds: Artistic Narratives of Migration and Integration

Research output: Non-textual formExhibition

Abstract

This exhibition explores the integral role of the natural environment in facilitating migrant integration within the UK. As part of the "Nature-Based Integration" project, this event encapsulates the transformative power of nature, serving as a common ground for interactions between migrants and long-term residents, fostering a sense of unity and belonging. Through a series of participatory workshops in collaboration with The Bureau Centre for the Arts, both migrants and long-term residents have expressed the profound impact of nature on their integration experiences via art.
