Abstract
The current research aims to conduct a qualitative systematic review of the experiences of mental health and wellbeing among young people. There is extensive research addressing various aspects of young people's mental health and wellbeing, but not much of it has examined young people's mental health and wellbeing from the perspective of social identity theory. The main premise of this work will be to study the positive and negative aspects of online groups and communities in relation to the mental health of young people and their general wellbeing through the lens of social identity theory.
