Abstract

Diagnostic biosensing platforms using plasmonic molybdenum trioxide quantum dots and nanocubes were developed for the sensitive detection of hepatitis E and norovirus. The working principles for the biosensors are based on the electromagnetic and chemical mechanisms-induced surface0enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) activities of the immunocomplexes of the target viruses.
