Abstract

The smart juice manufacturing system utilizes PLC and SCADA technologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. The Siemens S7-1500 PLC is employed for modular programming, managing units like fruit juice and sweetener water production. Safety interlocks and sensors ensure precise control and operator safety. SCADA systems such as WinCC HMI and King view SCADA offer real-time monitoring and visualization of trends and alarms. Data from PLC and SCADA systems are managed via Excel and SQL databases, with VB.NET scripting for effective communication. Power BI visualization provides insights into production, raw material availability, and system performance. This paper addresses challenges like control, reliability, safety, and sustainability, optimizing each stage of juice production for improved outcomes.
