Abstract

Set in 1968, this chapter focuses on young Bowie’s first meeting with the love of his life, Hermione Farthingale, his final days with the Lindsay Kemp Company, the creation of his version of the song that would become Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’, and the writing of his proto-Ziggy Stardust concept album Ernie Johnson.
