Abstract
Set in 1968, this chapter focuses on Bowie's friendship with Tony Visconti, the final performances of Pierrot in Turquoise with the Lindsay Kemp Company, the beginning of young Bowie's infatuation with cabaret, as well as his bizarre 1968 meeting with Paul McCartney of The Beatles.
