Abstract
This session is the first event for the newly formed Social Work in Schools International Collective (SWISIC) we are a group of people who champion social work in schools through research and developing social work student placements in schools.
In todays session we aim to consider the benefits and challenges of social work student placements in schools. We will hear reflections from social work students, practice educators and teachers and about developments and studies undertaken in the UK, South Africa and Ghana.
