Stories Intertwined: Artistic Dialogue of Community, Migration & Integration

Research output: Non-textual formExhibition

Abstract

Our upcoming exhibition explores the integral role of the natural
environment in facilitating migrant integration within the UK. As
part of the "Nature-Based Integration" project, funded by the
British Academy and Nuffield Foundation, this event encapsulates
the transformative power of nature, serving as a common ground
for interactions between migrants and long-term residents,
fostering a sense of unity and belonging.
Through a series of participatory workshops in collaboration with
the Living Under One Sun, both migrants and long-term residents
have expressed the profound impact of nature on their
integration experiences via art. We invite you to join us on
November 13 th as we celebrate these vibrant artworks that
speak to personal and local integration narratives, reflecting our
diverse and interconnected community.
