Abstract

The purpose of the study is to explore how strategic talent planning strategies can enhance the organisational performance of Nigeria Public Sector. This work has been structured as a qualitative study. Semi-structured interview will be used to collect data from purposively selected members of the public sector in Nigeria. Literature review of the work has been conducted. Literature reviewed show that different authors had explored the study phenomena and identified the need for Talent management to be systematic and aligned with other organisational programmes and structures. Nevertheless, it was noted that none of this work done from the sub-Saharan African perspective, which is a gap this work is trying to fill. Hence, this work which is on-going.
