Abstract
We survey some recent implementations of supervised learning methodologies
on large sets of arithmetic data. As part of our methodological review, we perform some simple statistical learning algorithms by hand on simplied problems. We incorporate a self-contained number-theoretic background which places a signicant emphasis on conjectures and examples relevant to the machine-learning context.
