Abstract
Andrew Tate is often seen as a major influence on toxic masculinity among young men. However, a survey of 1,100 respondents in the UK, US and Australia indicates his real-world impact is minimal, with only 7% reporting influence, mainly critical or oppositional. Instead of shaping male identity, Tate reflects societal anxieties, acting as a symbol of cultural unease rather than a true agent of change.
