    Abstract

    A reimagining of Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairytale as an interactive show for children and families.

    In the wilds of the far, far North, an Arctic explorer searches for his lost friend Gerda who has become imprisoned in the ice. Audiences discover lost letters, cast a magic spell, and take part in a traditional Finnish circle dance in this magical winter adventure which premiered at Wintertide in 2018 directed and performed by Jennifer Essex.
