Abstract

The efficacy of traditional herbal therapy using 1. 1 mixture of Allium sativa and Nigel/a sativa agajnst urinary tract infections has been studied. This herbal combinat;on was found to have invitro synergistic antimicrobial activity on the causative organisms for urinary tract infections. The clinical application also showed satisfactory psitive results as evidenced from the lowering of pus cell counts in urine s mcrosocopic examination.
