N2 - The physical properties such as density (ρ), viscosity (η) and refractive index (nD) of aqueous solutions of 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP) were measured for the whole range of composition. The measurements were made over the temperature range of 303.15 K to 333.15 K. Excess molar volumes (VE), viscosity deviations (Δη) and refractive index deviations (ΔnD) were calculated from the experimental results of density, viscosity, refractive index and correlated by using Redlich Kister equation. Partial molar volumes at infinite dilution were determined using apparent molar volumes. Excess molar volumes, viscosity deviations and refractive index deviations results show good interaction between water and AMP molecules.
