Abstract

This paper outlines recent developments in quantitative methods teaching in the UK and discusses how the future of statistics teaching in the social sciences in the UK must take into account broader trends in higher education, including the increasing emphasis being placed on ensuring quality control via greater student participation in feedback measures.
